• On-call rota: 1 in 5.

• Clinical split: Leadership with hands-on Equine & Farm work.

The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership position suited to a confident Equine & Farm vet who enjoys mentoring, developing teams and influencing clinical and commercial direction. You will lead an established department while retaining the ability to remain clinically active and engaged.

You will work collaboratively alongside other clinical leaders and operational management while having the autonomy to develop services, introduce innovation and support long-term growth.

The Role

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 Equine & Farm Veterinary Surgeons.

• Drive clinical standards, service development and business performance.

• Maintain a positive, progressive and supportive team culture.

• Work collaboratively with wider clinical leadership and management.

• Retain hands-on involvement in Equine & Farm clinical work.

• Shape and expand services in line with your professional vision.

Rota & Work–Life Balance

• 1 in 5 on-call rota.

• Protected time off following nights.

• Half-day scheduled every week.

• Monday off following a weekend on-call.

• Equine stables and stocks across two sites.

• In-house laboratory.

• Mobile digital radiography.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £62,500 – £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
