Hours: Full time.

On-call rota: Approximately 1 in 10 for most of the year.
The Role
This position is based within a dedicated farm-only team, providing comprehensive veterinary services to a diverse range of agricultural clients. The role covers all aspects of modern farm veterinary work, with opportunities to develop individual clinical interests.
You will work closely with experienced Animal Health Technicians and vet techs, allowing you to focus on clinical and advisory work while minimising routine TB testing commitments.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver progressive farm veterinary services across dairy, beef and sheep farms.

Build strong, long-term relationships with farming clients.

Provide herd health planning and preventative medicine advice.

Participate in client training meetings and industry initiatives.

Contribute to a collaborative and supportive farm team environment.
Rota & Work–Life Balance

Typical working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Half-day off following a night on call.

Full day time off in lieu following a weekend on call.

Approximately 1 in 10 on-call rota for around 10 months of the year.

Experienced Farm Veterinary Surgeon.

Confident working across dairy, beef and sheep systems.

Salary & Benefits

Salary £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
