Registered Veterinary Nurse – Frimley, Surrey

Salary £30,000–£31,000 DOE.

The Opportunity

This is a lovely opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a warm, supportive small animal practice in Frimley, Surrey.

You'll be joining a genuinely friendly team where collaboration and patient care are at the heart of everything they do. The role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys general practice nursing and wants to work in a calm, welcoming environment with strong clinical support.

The Role

You will work alongside an experienced lead vet and a growing veterinary team, sharing responsibility for delivering high standards of nursing care across consults, diagnostics, procedures and inpatient care.

The practice is well equipped with in-house laboratory facilities, ultrasound and X-ray, allowing cases to be worked up efficiently and thoroughly. You'll also be joining an established support network, with hospital backing for more complex cases.

Working pattern:

• 40 hours per week

• 1 in 4 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital

• Participation in on-call and bank holiday rota

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident across all aspects of general practice nursing

• Comfortable with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Strong communication and client-care skills

• Team-focused, reliable and proactive approach

• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care

Location

Based in Frimley, Surrey, the practice is tucked away in a peaceful residential area, offering a calm working environment while remaining well connected to surrounding towns and transport links. The location provides an excellent balance of lifestyle and accessibility.
