An exciting opportunity for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, well-established small animal practice in Loughborough. Key Details

• Role: Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal, GP).

• Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire.

• Hours: Full time, four-day week.

• Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–12:00pm).

• Out of hours: None.

• Contract: Permanent.

The Practice

• Stand-alone, purpose-built small animal practice with on-site parking.

• Modern facilities including digital X-ray, digital endoscopy, ultrasound, in-house lab, and advanced surgical and orthopaedic equipment.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality first-opinion consultations and routine surgery.

• Work up medical and surgical cases to a high clinical standard.

• Gain exposure to more advanced and orthopaedic procedures in-house.

• Manage a varied caseload with clinical freedom and support.

• Contribute to a positive, communicative team culture with daily collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.

• Confident GP vet with solid medical and surgical skills.

• Comfortable pushing clinical boundaries with appropriate support.

• Strong communication and client-care skills.

• Keen to develop clinically, with certificate ambitions welcomed.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £70,000 FTE, depending on experience.
