The Opportunity

This is a lovely opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established small animal practice in Fortis Green, North London, on a maternity cover basis.

Set in a calm, community-focused area close to Muswell Hill, the practice benefits from a loyal and growing client base. The role would suit an RVN who enjoys general practice nursing and values working within a friendly, supportive team where collaboration and positivity are part of daily life.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day nursing, supporting consultations, surgeries and diagnostics while delivering high standards of patient and client care.

The practice is well equipped with a fully fitted theatre, digital X-ray and dental equipment, with an internal laboratory coming soon. There is also access to advanced diagnostics including CT and MRI at a nearby 24-hour hospital, allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly.

The role operates on a 4-day working week, with 1 in 6 full weekends.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident across all aspects of general practice nursing

• Experience with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Strong communication and client-care skills

• Team-focused, positive and reliable approach

• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care

Location

Based in Fortis Green, North London, the practice is situated close to the boutique shops, cafés and restaurants of Muswell Hill, alongside nearby green spaces. The area offers a relaxed yet well-connected London location with a strong community feel.
