The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and professional small animal practice based in Carpenders Park, Hertfordshire.

The practice is known for its welcoming culture and supportive team environment, making it an ideal setting for an RVN who enjoys general practice nursing and being part of a close-knit team. This role offers a strong balance of hands-on clinical work, team collaboration and access to wider hospital support.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day nursing, supporting consultations, surgeries and diagnostics while delivering high standards of patient and client care.

The role includes nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities, inpatient care, and client communication. You'll work closely with a friendly, passionate team and benefit from nearby 24-hour hospital support for more complex cases, including access to advanced diagnostics and specialist services.

The position is full time, operating on a 4-day working week, with 1 in 6 weekends covered at a nearby 24-hour hospital.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident across all aspects of general practice nursing

• Experience with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

Location

Based in Carpenders Park, Hertfordshire, the practice benefits from a convenient location close to Watford, with good transport links and local amenities. The area offers a pleasant community setting alongside easy access to a nearby 24-hour hospital.

Salary & Benefits
