The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a long-established small animal practice based in North Harrow, Greater London.

The practice has been serving the local community for decades and offers a strong medical and surgical caseload, providing an excellent environment to fully utilise and develop your nursing skills. This role would suit an RVN who enjoys general practice nursing and values working within a friendly, supportive team.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day nursing, supporting consultations, surgeries and diagnostics while delivering high standards of patient and client care.

The practice is well equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, haematology and biochemistry analysers, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring and therapeutic laser, allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly in-house. For more complex cases, a nearby 24-hour hospital provides access to advanced diagnostics and specialist care.

The role is full time (40 hours per week) with a fair share of weekends. The practice hosts overnight hospitalisation for patients, with no on-call or out-of-hours shifts required.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident across all aspects of general practice nursing

• Experience with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Strong communication and client-care skills

• Team-focused, proactive and organised approach

• Commitment to delivering high clinical standards

Location

Based in North Harrow, Greater London, the practice benefits from good transport links and access to local amenities. The area offers a convenient residential setting with strong community feel, making it a practical and attractive place to work.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £30,000–£35,000 DOE
