The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Dorchester, Dorset.
The hospital provides out-of-hours care, hospitalisation and complex case work-ups for surrounding practices, alongside first-opinion work during the week. This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a night environment, and wants to further develop skills in emergency and critical care nursing.
The Role
You will work as the sole RVN on night duty, alongside a dedicated night veterinary surgeon, taking responsibility for inpatient care and overnight case management.
Duties include patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, supporting procedures, Schedule 3 activities where appropriate, and delivering consistently high standards of patient and client care. The role offers excellent exposure to medical, surgical and ECC nursing.
The working pattern is 5 nights on, 9 nights off on a rolling rota.

Interest or experience in ECC and overnight nursing

Must Haves
