The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy small animal practice in Kentish Town, North London.

The practice offers a good mix of medical and surgical cases, providing an excellent environment to fully utilise and continue developing your nursing skills. You'll be supported by a large and experienced team including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants, creating a collaborative and supportive working atmosphere.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day nursing, supporting consultations, surgeries and diagnostics while delivering high standards of patient and client care.

There is genuine opportunity to develop nurse-led clinics, contribute ideas and take initiative in promoting new services within the practice. This role would suit an RVN who enjoys being hands-on, proactive and involved in the wider development of the nursing service.

This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week). The role includes participation in a 1 in 6 full weekend rota at a nearby hospital.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Previous experience within a small animal practice

• Confident carrying out nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Strong communication and client-care skills

• Proactive, organised and team-focused approach

• Desire to develop clinically and contribute new ideas

Location

Based in Kentish Town, North London, the practice is conveniently located close to local amenities and Kentish Town train station. The area offers excellent transport links and a vibrant local community, making it a popular and well-connected place to work.

Must Haves
