The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Hendon, Greater London.

The hospital supports practices across North West London and the wider South of England, managing a wide and complex caseload. This role would suit an RVN with hospital experience who strives for clinical excellence and enjoys working within a large, collaborative team.

The Role

You will work either within wards/inpatient care or surgical nursing, depending on your experience and clinical interests.

The hospital offers exposure to advanced cases across neurology, medicine and surgery and is exceptionally well equipped, including MRI and CT, endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital X-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring and in-house laboratory services.

You will also play a role in supporting the development of others, including acting as a clinical coach to a Student Veterinary Nurse, while maintaining the highest clinical, regulatory and operational standards.

The working pattern is a 4-day week, with 1 in 6 weekends.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Previous hospital experience essential

• Interest in inpatient/ward nursing or surgical nursing

• Confident supporting complex and advanced cases

• Willingness to mentor and support student nurses

• Team-focused approach with high clinical standards

Location

Based in Hendon, Greater London, the hospital benefits from excellent transport links, strong on-site facilities and a spacious working environment. The area offers good connectivity alongside local amenities, making it a practical and well-located place to work.
