The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital in Hendon, Greater London.

The hospital manages a wide and complex caseload, offering excellent exposure to both first-opinion and advanced care. This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys night work, thrives in a hospital environment and wants to continue developing strong medical and surgical nursing skills.

The Role

You will work overnight alongside veterinary surgeons and experienced nursing colleagues, delivering high standards of inpatient and emergency care.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, supporting medical and surgical cases, Schedule 3 activities where appropriate, and ensuring consistent, gold-standard care throughout the night. The role offers genuine variety and autonomy within a supportive overnight team.

The working pattern is 7 nights on, 14 nights off, providing excellent work–life balance.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Previous hospital or night-nursing experience preferred

• Confident working independently overnight

• Strong clinical judgement and patient-care skills

• Calm, organised and proactive approach

• Team-focused mindset with high clinical standards

Location

Based in Hendon, Greater London, the hospital benefits from excellent transport links and access to a wide range of local amenities. The location offers strong connectivity while working within one of London's key veterinary hospital hubs.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary £32,000–£35,000 per year DOE
