The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to take on a leadership role within a busy small animal practice based in Stoke Newington, North London.

The role is ideal for a confident RVN who enjoys combining clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities, supporting high standards of patient care while helping to shape a positive, collaborative team culture. You'll work closely with practice leadership to drive continuous improvement and support the ongoing development of the nursing team.

The Role

You will remain hands-on clinically while also providing leadership, guidance and support to the nursing team.

Responsibilities will include leading nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, supporting consults, surgeries and diagnostics, overseeing inpatient care, and managing admissions and discharges. In addition, you'll play a key role in mentoring nurses and students, encouraging development, and maintaining high clinical, regulatory and operational standards across the practice.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Previous experience in a senior or leadership nursing role preferred

• Confident leading and motivating a nursing team

• Strong clinical skills and high standards of patient care

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• Proactive, supportive leadership style with a focus on development

Based in Stoke Newington, North London, the practice sits within a vibrant and diverse community known for its village feel, independent shops, cafés and green spaces such as Clissold Park. Salary & Benefits

• Salary £34,000–£38,000 DOE
