The Opportunity

This is a lovely opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice based in Rustington, West Sussex, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Located in a charming coastal village close to the beach and the South Downs National Park, the practice offers a relaxed working environment alongside a varied and rewarding caseload. This role would suit an RVN looking for excellent work–life balance while remaining fully engaged in high-quality clinical nursing.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of general practice nursing, supporting surgery, diagnostics, inpatient care and client education.

The practice is well equipped with modern facilities including multiple consult rooms, a dedicated theatre, digital X-ray, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory and a fully equipped dental suite. You'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, delivering high standards of patient and client care.

This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident across all aspects of general practice nursing

• Experience with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Strong communication and client-care skills

• Organised, proactive and team-focused approach

• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care

Location
