The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Dartford, Kent, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The hospital acts as a central hub, supporting surrounding practices with emergency and complex cases. This role offers genuine variety, exposure to advanced nursing, and the chance to build on your clinical expertise within a progressive, well-supported environment.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of hospital nursing, from nurse-led consults and inpatient care through to anaesthesia, theatre work and emergency support.

The hospital is well equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, an orthopaedic theatre, a dedicated ICU and an in-house laboratory, enabling delivery of gold-standard patient care. You'll work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team including experienced RVNs and a supportive Head Nurse who values teamwork and development.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position (12 months) within a 24-hour hospital setting.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident working in a hospital or emergency environment

• Strong clinical and patient-care skills

• Experience with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Positive, proactive and team-focused approach

• Desire to continue developing clinically

Location

Based in Dartford, Kent, the hospital benefits from excellent transport links, with easy access to London and the Kent countryside. London is approximately 35 minutes away by train, with quick access to the M25, A2 and Dartford Crossing.

Must Haves
