Weekend Rota: 1:3 Saturday mornings plus 1:10 hospital Saturday rotation, plus 1 bank holiday per year

Salary: £32,000–£35,000 FTE (pro rata), depending on experience
The Role
-
Part-time RVN position supporting day-to-day branch practice life
-
Working closely with a Senior RVN and experienced veterinary team
-
Mentoring and supporting trainee nurses through their training
-
Opportunity suited to newly qualified RVNs or those seeking reduced hours

Responsibilities
-
Deliver high-quality nursing care to all patients
-
Assist veterinary surgeons in theatre and during consultations
-
Maintain accurate and thorough patient and hospitalisation records
-
Ensure patient comfort, welfare and safety at all times
-
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and equipment standards
-
Manage stock levels of drugs, diets and consumables
-
Support induction and training of new staff
-
Provide reception cover when required with a professional, client-focused approach
-
Act as a clinical supervisor and mentor for student nurses
Working Pattern

3-day working week with flexibility

No on-call duties

Saturday mornings on a shared rota

Hospital Saturday rotation included

Predictable rota supporting work–life balance
Salary & Benefits

£32,000–£35,000 FTE (pro rata) depending on experience

6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)

CPD budget plus up to 2 days' paid CPD leave (pro rata)

Must Haves
- RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
- Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
