Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Float)

Base Location: Northolt, Middlesex (UB5)

Coverage Area: London (Central, North, South, East, West) and parts of Essex

Hours: Full time or part time (2–5 days per week considered)

Weekend Work: Regular Saturdays and occasional Sundays

Sundays & Bank Holidays: Worked at nearest 24-hour hospital

Contract: Permanent
The Role

Multi-site float nursing role supporting rota gaps across practices
-
Shifts allocated in collaboration with a central rota/locum coordination team
-
Weekly rota varies based on business need and location accessibility

Opportunity to work across a wide range of settings including hospitals, multi-vet practices and sole-charge clinics

Flexible working patterns available to suit lifestyle preferences
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care across different practice environments
-
Support veterinary surgeons in consultations, theatre and inpatient care

Assist with general day-to-day clinical nursing duties

Provide reception and client-facing support when required
-
Support and guide student nurses in clinical settings
-
Adapt quickly to different teams, workflows and practice styles

Maintain professional and collaborative working relationships across sites
