Full Time or Part Time | Permanent | Multi-Site Role

Key Details

• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Float)

• Base Location: Northolt, Middlesex (UB5)

• Coverage Area: London (Central, North, South, East, West) and parts of Essex

• Hours: Full time or part time (2–5 days per week considered)

• Weekend Work: Regular Saturdays and occasional Sundays

• Sundays & Bank Holidays: Worked at nearest 24-hour hospital

• Contract: Permanent

The Role

• Multi-site float nursing role supporting rota gaps across practices

• Shifts allocated in collaboration with a central rota/locum coordination team

• Weekly rota varies based on business need and location accessibility

• Opportunity to work across a wide range of settings including hospitals, multi-vet practices and sole-charge clinics

• Flexible working patterns available to suit lifestyle preferences

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across different practice environments

• Support veterinary surgeons in consultations, theatre and inpatient care

• Assist with general day-to-day clinical nursing duties

• Provide reception and client-facing support when required

• Support and guide student nurses in clinical settings

• Adapt quickly to different teams, workflows and practice styles

• Maintain professional and collaborative working relationships across sites
