An excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established first-opinion practice in Eastcote, Middlesex. This full-time role is ideal for a confident RVN looking to take ownership within a branch setting, work closely with an experienced veterinary surgeon and play a key role in supporting student nurses within a training environment.

Full Time | £34,000 – £37,000 | Permanent

• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Sole RVN)

• Location: Eastcote, Middlesex

• Hours: Full time

• Working Pattern: 40 hours per week

• Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 branch Saturdays, 1 in 10 hospital Sundays

• Bank Holidays: 1 per year

• Out of Hours: None

• Contract: Permanent

• Training practice for Student Veterinary Nurses

• Supported by a nearby 24-hour hospital for emergency and OOH care

The Role

• Sole RVN position within a branch practice

• Delivering high standards of nursing care across the practice

• Assisting the veterinary surgeon in consultations and theatre

• Maintaining accurate patient and hospitalisation records

• Ensuring excellent patient welfare and comfort

• Managing stock control, ordering and equipment sterilisation

• Supporting the induction and training of new staff

• Acting as a clinical supervisor for student nurses

• Providing reception support where required

• Working collaboratively to ensure smooth day-to-day practice operations

Leadership training is available for RVNs looking to further develop within the role.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident working independently within a branch environment

• Comfortable supporting and supervising student nurses

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Proactive, supportive and team-focused approach

Salary & Benefits

Must Haves
