Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 branch Saturdays, 1 in 10 hospital Sundays

The Role
-
Senior RVN role with leadership responsibility
-
Working closely with the Senior Veterinary Surgeon
-
Supporting the day-to-day clinical and operational running of the practice
-
Diary management, equipment oversight and team engagement
-
Maintaining high standards of nursing care, patient welfare and client service
-
Utilising Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
-
Acting as a clinical supervisor for Student Veterinary Nurses
-
Supporting reception and front-of-house standards
Key Responsibilities

Leading and supporting the nursing team

Assisting vets in theatre and consultations

Ensuring equipment is serviced, maintained and fully operational

Conducting weekly controlled drug audits
-
Managing reception operations and client communication standards

Promoting a positive, collaborative team environment
Leadership training is provided to support your transition into a senior position.
What We're Looking For

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

Experience in a first-opinion practice environment

Confident with leadership and team coordination

Strong organisational and communication skills

Comfortable supporting and mentoring colleagues and students
