OOH Rota: 1 in 8 (with two vets on call at all times)

The Practice

Genuinely mixed veterinary practice

Structured rota ensuring exposure to farm, equine and small animal work

Strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and wellbeing

Weekly clinical meetings for case discussion and shared learning

Large, experienced nursing team providing excellent support
-
Modern, well-equipped facilities across all species
Equipment includes equine and small animal video endoscopy, sector and linear ultrasound scanners for farm and equine work, high-quality small animal ultrasound, digital x-ray including dental and mobile equine systems.
The Role

Mixed veterinary role covering farm, equine and small animal caseloads

Guaranteed variety with structured rota balance

Set operating days to allow proper case work-up

15-minute consultations delivered in manageable consulting blocks

Opportunity to develop special interests with full support

CPD actively encouraged with generous funding

Practice vehicle available if required
Out of Hours Structure

In-house OOH service
-
1 in 8 rota (to reduce further as the team expands)

Two vets on call at all times

4-day long weekend following a weekend on call

Additional mid-rota long weekend

Additional cash payment per OOH call

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

Experience or interest across farm, equine and small animal work
