The Practice

• Purpose-built, single-site small animal practice

• RCVS-accredited

• Modern, well-equipped facilities supporting high clinical standards

• Visiting specialists for orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery

• Strong emphasis on in-house case management and clinical development

Facilities include multiple consulting rooms, imaging suite, dental suite with dental x-ray, two theatres, endoscopy, advanced anaesthetic monitoring and comprehensive in-house laboratory equipment.

The Role

• First-opinion GP veterinary role within a supportive team environment

• Opportunity to develop management and leadership responsibilities

• Scope for progression into a senior or clinical director role for the right candidate

• Building long-term relationships with a loyal client base

• Managing a varied caseload with support from experienced RVNs

• Well-managed diary with structured appointment scheduling

• 15-minute consultations as standard with longer slots for complex cases

• Built-in catch-up time and protected finishing times

Out of Hours Structure

• 1 in 5 on-call rota

• Day off following a weeknight on call

• Long weekend off following an on-call weekend

• Nurses on site 24/7 to support emergencies, triage and inpatient care

• Average of approximately 29 hours per week on day shifts after TOIL

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident, experienced GP vet

• Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team

• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• Interest in leadership, mentoring or management development
