The Practice

Established first-opinion small animal practice with multiple sites

High and varied caseload supporting clinical progression

Strong in-house services with opportunities to expand surgical and medical work

Well-equipped facilities including advanced diagnostics and surgical theatres

Dedicated overnight nursing team providing inpatient care

The Role
-
GP veterinary role with exposure to a broad and interesting caseload
-
Opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest including surgery and orthopaedics

Full-time rota based on a rolling 8-week cycle to allow forward planning

Involvement in the in-house out-of-hours service with overnight nursing support
-
On-call commitments balanced with generous time off in lieu

Flexible working patterns and part-time options available
Out of Hours Structure (Full Time):

1 in 8 weekend on-call

1 weeknight on-call every 2 weeks

Protected time off following on-call shifts

Dedicated night RVNs handling overnight care and calls

External answering service overnight
What We're Looking For

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
VetGDP completed
-
Confident in routine consultations and surgery

Enjoys working within a large, collaborative team

Keen to progress clinically and contribute to service development

Salary & Benefits

Salary £40,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE, pro rata)
