The Practice

Well-established small animal practice operating across hospital and branch sites

Recently refurbished branch premises

Friendly, experienced veterinary team with a wide range of clinical interests

Certificate holders within the team across medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging

Excellent in-house diagnostic capabilities allowing the majority of cases to be worked up internally

Out-of-hours, weekend and bank holiday cover provided externally, with inpatient care remaining on site overnight
The Role
-
First-opinion GP veterinary role with flexibility to shape duties around clinical strengths
-
Mix of consulting, operating and hospital shifts
-
Opportunity to develop surgical skills including orthopaedic, laparoscopic and BOAS procedures

Dedicated hospital shifts involving inpatient care and emergency case management
-
Access to advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy and point-of-care testing

Rota structured to suit individual preferences, whether surgical, medical or a varied caseload
What We're Looking For

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Confident GP vet with VetGDP completed

Comfortable performing routine soft tissue surgery

Keen to develop clinically with support from experienced colleagues

Team-focused with a positive, collaborative approach

Salary & Benefits

Salary up to £80,000 per annum (DOE, pro rata for part time)

Must Haves
