An excellent opportunity for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a very busy, well-established first-opinion small animal practice in Mile End, East London. This is a high-caseload role suited to a GP vet who thrives in a fast-paced inner-city environment and is looking to play a key part in the continued development of a growing practice.

• Role: Veterinary Surgeon

• Hours: Full time

• Working Pattern: 4-day week

• Average Hours: 40.4 hours per week

• Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 branch Saturdays, 1 in 8 hospital Sundays

• Bank Holidays: Up to 2 per year

• On-call: Included

• Contract: Permanent

• Busy first-opinion small animal practice operating as a high-performing "mini hub”

• Large and expanding caseload

• Recently invested in ultrasound facilities

• Excellent regional management and clinical leadership support

• Supported by a nearby 24-hour veterinary hospital for out-of-hours care and complex cases

The Role

• Full-time GP Veterinary Surgeon role in a fast-paced inner London practice

• Managing a varied and demanding caseload

• Opportunity to help shape the future direction of the practice

• Working alongside a senior vet, additional vets and a growing nursing team

• Involvement in emergency and out-of-hours care through hospital rotations

• Approximately six short twilight shifts per year, offering valuable ECC exposure

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident in first-opinion GP work

• Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment

• Strong clinical decision-making skills

• Proactive, team-focused approach

• Interest in developing within a growing practice

Salary & Benefits

Must Haves

• RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
