Shifts: 7pm – 9am

Salary Options

Full Time: £61,159 – £65,405
-
4 nights on / 8 nights off

Based on 32.67 hours per week

Part Time: £32,500 – £35,850

4 nights on / 20 nights off

Based on 16.38 hours per week

The Practice
-
Purpose-built, RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital
-
Central hospital supporting multiple branch practices and local clinics
-
Eight consulting rooms
-
Dedicated dog, cat, exotic, isolation and day procedure wards
-
Three theatres and multiple prep areas
-
CT scanner, dental suite and full in-house laboratory with dedicated lab technician
-
Separate exotics team during the day
The Role
-
Sole charge night role with structured handover from the day team
-
Managing emergency and critical care cases overnight
-
Responsibility for inpatients across small animal and exotic species
-
Working alongside an experienced Night RVN and Animal Nursing Assistant
-
Fully supported by a strong, well-resourced day team
-
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts to cover holidays

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

Confident working sole charge overnight

Strong interest in Emergency & Critical Care

Calm, approachable and organised under pressure

Team-focused with excellent communication skills

Must Haves
