• Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (commensurate with experience and skill set)

• Hours: 20 – 40.5 hours per week

• Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

• Contract: Permanent

• Out-of-hours: None

The Practice

This role sits within a friendly, RCVS-accredited, multi-branch small animal practice operating across Peterborough, Wisbech and March. The team is well established and benefits from strong leadership, visiting specialists and a genuinely supportive working culture.

The practice has a collaborative ethos where clinical discussion is encouraged, development is supported and work–life balance is taken seriously.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Veterinary Surgeon comfortable with sole charge and a mix of medical and surgical cases. You'll work primarily between the Peterborough and Wisbech branches, with occasional cover at the March branch.

The role offers flexibility around working hours and would suit someone looking for stability, clinical variety and a supportive environment — without the pressures of out-of-hours or on-call work.

Facilities & Clinical Support

• Three well-equipped branch practices

• Visiting specialists in orthopaedics, cardiology and ophthalmology

• Vets within the team with advanced surgery and ophthalmology interests

• Support from a Group Clinical Director

• Full nursing and reception team support

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident handling sole charge when required

• Comfortable with routine medical and surgical cases

• Strong communication and client care skills

• Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative approach
