The Organisation

The practice benefits from bonded, largely insured clients and a calm village setting, while retaining easy access to London and advanced referral facilities.

The Role
This is a true first-opinion GP position, ideal for a vet seeking part-time work without sole charge pressures. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues during the week, with flexibility around how your working days are structured.

The rota includes:

• Approx. 20.12 hours per week

• 1:3 Saturday mornings at the branch

• 1:8 Sunday rotation at the hospital

• 1 bank holiday per year at the hospital

• No on-call duties

• No sole charge during the week

Flexibility is available around weekday hours, with options such as shorter days or full-day shifts to suit your lifestyle.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Comfortable in a first-opinion GP role

• Strong communicator with a client-focused approach

• Team-oriented and keen to work collaboratively

• All experience levels considered

The Practice
The Chalfont St Peter branch is a peaceful, well-equipped practice with:

• 3 consultation rooms

• Separate dog and cat wards

• Ultrasound facilities

• Large garden and outdoor space for breaks

• Supportive, long-standing clinical and non-clinical team

Out-of-hours support is provided by a nearby 24-hour hospital with advanced diagnostics and specialist services, including CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy and referral clinicians.

The Location
Chalfont St Peter offers rural charm with excellent connectivity. You're just a short drive from Gerrards Cross station, with London reachable in under an hour, making this an ideal location for those wanting countryside living with city access.
