The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step into a leadership position while remaining clinically hands-on. You'll support the Head Nurse by leading part of the nursing team, helping to deliver efficient, professional and caring services across the hospital.
The role combines clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities, typically around 80% clinical and 20% management time. You'll help coordinate daily workflow, support and mentor RVNs and VCAs, maintain high clinical and hygiene standards, and promote preventative care and Pet Wellbeing services. You'll also deputise for the Head Nurse when required and play a key role in supporting team performance and development.

The Hospital
You'll be based in a modern, well-equipped charity hospital in Aston, known for teamwork, case discussion and shared learning. The clinical team has a wide range of interests, providing strong peer support and development opportunities.
Facilities include separate dog and cat kennelling, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.

Must Haves
