The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking flexibility while keeping clinical skills sharp. As a Bank Vet, you'll step into a busy hospital environment to support the clinical team as needed, managing a broad range of medical and surgical cases.

You'll be confident working autonomously while integrating smoothly into established teams, making pragmatic, evidence-based decisions that balance best practice with each owner's circumstances. The role suits vets who enjoy variety, adaptability and contributing meaningfully on every shift.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident handling a varied small animal caseload

• Pragmatic, welfare-focused clinical approach

• Strong communication and client care skills

• Comfortable adapting quickly in different clinical settings

• Team-oriented and supportive working style

The Hospital

You'll be working within a modern, well-equipped charity hospital in Bradford, known for strong teamwork, shared learning and collaborative case discussion. The clinical team has a wide range of interests, providing excellent peer support during bank shifts.

Facilities include:

• Separate dog and cat kennelling

• In-house radiography and ultrasound

• Endoscopy

• Piped gases

• Extensive orthopaedic equipment

Must Haves

• RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
