The Area:
Gamston is a popular residential area just outside Nottingham, offering excellent commuter links and a strong community feel. With easy access to the M1, major road networks and Nottingham city centre just minutes away, it combines convenience with a relaxed lifestyle.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias to join a progressive small animal practice. You'll be confident across a broad range of surgical procedures and ideally have some emergency and critical care experience.
In addition to managing your own caseload, you'll play a key role in supporting and mentoring junior vets, helping to build a collaborative and supportive clinical team. The practice encourages thorough case work-ups and clinical autonomy, with strong support for professional development and certificates.
The role is full time, working 40 hours per week across four days, with a light Saturday rota and no out-of-hours commitments.

What We're Looking For:

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Strong surgical skills with a GP background

Confident with a varied caseload

Interest in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues

Team-focused with excellent communication skills

Keen to develop clinically with CPD and certificates supported
