Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time | Greater Manchester

A flexible, part-time Veterinary Surgeon opportunity within a well-established small animal practice in Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for an experienced GP Vet or a consult-only Vet looking for excellent work–life balance, strong clinical support, and genuine encouragement to develop areas of interest, including certificates.

The Role:

You'll join an established and friendly veterinary team delivering first-opinion small animal care. The role can suit a Vet confident in routine GP work or someone preferring a consult-only position. There is excellent nursing support, allowing you to focus on clinical care, case continuity, and client communication.

Clinical development is actively encouraged, with support available for CPD and certificate study. The practice fosters a positive, collaborative culture where vets are supported to progress at their own pace.

The Practice & Team:

This locally owned surgery is led by experienced practice owners who have created a strong, people-first culture. The team includes multiple experienced Veterinary Surgeons, a proactive nursing team, and a dedicated front-of-house team, all working together to deliver outstanding care.

The location offers excellent accessibility, with easy commuting links into Manchester city centre and surrounding areas, while also being within reach of countryside and outdoor spaces—ideal for balancing work and lifestyle.

What We're Looking For:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident in GP consults (routine surgery desirable but not essential)

• Happy to work part-time with a flexible approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Interest in CPD and ongoing clinical development
