The Area:
Yeovil is a well-connected market town in Somerset, offering excellent rail links and easy access to the South West. The area provides a great balance of town amenities, countryside and coastal destinations, with Exeter, Bath and the Jurassic Coast all within easy reach.
The Role:
This role is ideal for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and has a passion for supporting and mentoring colleagues. You will work across a varied GP caseload, with 20-minute consults as standard and well-structured days that support both clinical excellence and work-life balance.
There is real flexibility around hours, with full time preferred but alternative working patterns considered. The practice operates without out-of-hours and offers a light weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only.
For vets with an interest in mentoring, there is scope to support new graduate development and explore progression towards a Vet GDP Advisor role as the team continues to grow.

What We're Looking For:

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

Strong all-round GP experience

Confident in routine small animal medicine and surgery

Enjoys building strong client and patient relationships

Interest in mentoring and supporting junior vets

Team-focused, positive and proactive approach
