• Working Pattern: Weekends only

• Shifts: Saturday 9am–6pm, Sunday 10:30am–4:30pm

• Alternative Option: Saturday-only considered

• Salary: £48,000–£65,000 DOE (pro rata)

• Contract: Permanent

The Area:

The Role:

This is a weekend-only Veterinary Surgeon position within a large, first-opinion small animal practice experiencing continued growth. You'll work as part of a supportive, experienced clinical team with no sole charge responsibilities.

The role can be consult-only if preferred, or include a mix of consultations and procedures depending on your experience and interests. Clinical freedom is actively encouraged, with cases worked up in-house and no rigid targets or protocols.

Clinical Environment & Facilities:

• Large first-opinion small animal practice

• Experienced clinical team including certificate holders

• Orthopaedic and ophthalmology caseload exposure

• Digital X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy

• In-house laboratory facilities

• Modern anaesthetic monitoring and theatre equipment

• Regular clinical meetings, CPD and case discussions

What We're Looking For:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Confident all-round small animal GP

• Comfortable with weekend caseloads

• Strong communication and client care skills

• Team-focused with a collaborative approach

• Interest in ongoing CPD and development
