The Area:
Brighouse is a well-positioned market town in West Yorkshire, offering excellent access to both countryside and major cities. Located close to Halifax and within easy reach of Leeds, the area provides a great balance of town amenities, green spaces and strong transport links, making it an ideal location for both commuting and lifestyle flexibility.
The Role:
This position is suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years' experience who is keen to progress clinically and develop special interests. You'll be joining a collaborative, nurse-led environment that prioritises gold-standard care and gives vets the time and support needed to fully work up cases.
You'll work alongside an experienced practice owner with advanced surgical and ophthalmology expertise, providing exposure to a wide variety of cases not typically seen in standard first-opinion practice. The team actively encourages learning, discussion and shared clinical decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering high-quality first-opinion consultations and surgery

Working cases up to gold standard using advanced in-house diagnostics

Developing clinical interests such as imaging, dermatology, surgery or ophthalmology

Collaborating closely with a strong nursing team

Contributing ideas and clinical input within a supportive team environment
What We're Looking For:

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Minimum 2 years' UK small animal experience
-
Confident with routine surgery and consultations
-
Keen to develop further clinical interests

Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Passion for high-quality patient and client care
