Sutton-in-Ashfield is a well-connected market town in Nottinghamshire, ideally located close to the M1 and offering easy access to Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas. The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with solid GP experience to join a friendly, experienced clinical team within a modern, well-equipped practice. You'll be supported by knowledgeable colleagues and benefit from a collaborative working environment where clinical development is actively encouraged.
The role includes a varied caseload across consultations and surgery, with minimal sole charge and strong internal support for more complex procedures. Vets with additional qualifications or a desire to pursue certificates are warmly welcomed, with enhanced salary and development support available.
What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering high-quality first-opinion consultations and surgery

Managing routine medical and surgical cases confidently

Working cases up to gold standard with strong diagnostic support

Collaborating closely with an experienced nursing and support team

Supporting and mentoring students where appropriate
What We're Looking For:

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Confident with routine small animal surgery and consults
-
Comfortable with occasional sole charge
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Interest in ongoing clinical development and CPD
