An excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive, nurse-led small animal team working across multiple well-established practices in Ayrshire. This role is ideal for both newly qualified and experienced RVNs looking for flexibility, strong clinical support and genuine career development without out-of-hours commitments.

The Role:

This is a varied and rewarding Registered Veterinary Nurse position working across three nearby practices, allowing exposure to different teams, caseloads and clinical environments while remaining fully supported. Nurses play a central role in practice life, with strong encouragement to utilise their full skill set and develop individual interests.

You'll be supported by experienced senior nursing leadership, including clinical nurse managers and dedicated nursing mentors, ensuring you always have guidance available even when working across different sites.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Running nurse consults and supporting preventative care

• Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures

• Providing high-quality inpatient and ward nursing care

• Supporting Schedule 3 procedures where trained

• Working collaboratively across multiple sites as part of a close-knit team

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse (newly qualified welcome)

• Passion for delivering high standards of patient care

• Confident, proactive and team-focused approach

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Interest in ongoing professional development
