Veterinary Surgeon | Nuneaton, Warwickshire

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, award-winning small animal practice in Nuneaton. This role offers a varied GP caseload, excellent diary structure, and a genuinely supportive team environment, with flexibility built in to support a healthy work–life balance.

Full Time | Salary up to £70,000 DOE | No OOH | 20-Minute Consults

Key Details:

• Role: Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal GP)

• Hours: Full time (flexible working patterns considered)

• Shifts: Mix of 9am–5pm and 11am–7pm

• Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–5pm)

• Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE

• Contract: Permanent

• OOH: None

The Area:

Nuneaton is a well-connected Warwickshire town offering excellent access to Birmingham and Coventry, while still retaining a strong community feel. With great local amenities, easy access to major road networks and direct rail links into London, the area is ideal for vets looking for convenience without the pressures of city-centre living.

The Role:

This position is suited to an experienced GP Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a varied medical and surgical caseload and is confident working independently when required. The practice is growing and continues to see a wide range of interesting cases, with strong clinical standards supported by structured diaries and protected breaks.

You'll benefit from 20-minute consults, built-in admin time, protected lunch breaks and a well-organised rota designed to ensure the team finishes on time. The role offers the chance to develop further clinically, with CPD and certificates actively encouraged and supported.

What We're Looking For:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Solid GP experience with confidence in routine surgery and consults

• Comfortable with occasional sole charge

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Proactive, patient-focused approach

• Interest in ongoing CPD and clinical development
