An excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, forward-thinking small animal practice in the Rotherham, South Yorkshire area. Full Time or Part Time | Up to £65,000 DOE | Minimum 20 Hours | 1 in 3–4 Saturday Mornings | No OOH

Key Details:

• Role: Veterinary Surgeon

• Hours: Full or part time (minimum 20 hours per week)

• Working Pattern: Flexible rota options available

• Weekends: 1 in 3 or 4 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm)

• Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE (FTE)

• Contract: Permanent

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality first-opinion small animal care

• Confidently manage routine consultations and soft tissue surgery

• Opportunity to work alongside experienced vets with advanced clinical interests

• Involvement in a progressive, patient-focused practice culture

• Some sole charge responsibility

• 20-minute consultations as standard

What We're Looking For:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Ideally 3 years' UK small animal experience

• Confident in routine surgery and consults

• Strong communication and client care skills

• A collaborative, team-focused approach

• Desire to continue clinical development

Facilities & Support:

• Purpose-built, spacious and air-conditioned practice

• Dedicated operating theatre

• Digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory

• Advanced equipment including laparoscopy, rigid endoscopy and dentistry
