The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Head Nurse role within a modern, well-equipped small animal practice.

You'll lead and support the nursing team, oversee day-to-day clinical standards, and play a key role in maintaining excellent patient care, client service and team development. This role combines hands-on clinical nursing with leadership, mentoring and operational responsibility.

What We're Looking For:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse

• Proven experience in a senior or leadership nursing role (or ready to step up)

• Confident leading, supporting and developing a nursing team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Passion for high clinical standards and patient welfare

• Commitment to ongoing CPD and team development

Working Hours & Flexibility:

• 4-day working week

• 40 hours per week

• 1 in 4 weekend rota

• Duty nights included on a rota basis

• Structured rota designed to support work–life balance

Must Haves
