About the role
We're seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in ophthalmology — or a certificate holder in the field — to join a well-established, progressive small animal practice in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a supportive team, managing a varied caseload while helping to grow and develop the practice's ophthalmology services.
What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' experience, with at least 1 year in the UK

A certificate in ophthalmology (or strong desire to pursue one, with full support available)

Confident in all aspects of general practice (medicine, surgery and consultations)

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Passion for continuous learning, with a proactive, client-focused attitude

About the practice
You'll be joining a modern, purpose-built practice equipped with fantastic facilities and a motivated, skilled clinical team. The Liverpool surgery has a broad caseload, with colleagues currently working towards certificates across multiple disciplines. With strong team support and a collaborative approach to CPD, this is a great environment to grow your specialist interest in ophthalmology while continuing to develop your wider GP skills.

Must Haves
- RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
- Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
