Salary: £26,000 – £31,500 DOE
Contract: Permanent (Maternity Cover)

The Role
We're seeking a proactive and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, independent small animal practice in Lincoln to provide maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly team, delivering outstanding clinical care and excellent client service.

The role is varied and engaging, covering theatre work, nurse consults, inpatient care, diagnostics and supporting the wider clinical team. You'll work 4 x 9-hour shifts per week, with a fair weekend rota (1 in 4) and duty nights on rotation.

About the Practice
This is the newest site within the UK's largest independent, family-owned veterinary group. The purpose-built practice is bright, spacious and equipped with modern facilities and technology to support gold-standard care.

The team are passionate about development, with many of the nurses holding or working towards certificates in areas such as surgery, dentistry and behaviour. Professional growth is actively encouraged, with CPD supported at all levels.

The Team
You'll be part of a welcoming group of Vets, RVNs, SVNs, VCAs and client care colleagues. The culture is collaborative and positive, with a focus on knowledge-sharing, case discussions, and community engagement. This is a team who enjoy working together and regularly get involved in fundraising initiatives and local events.

• RCVS-registered RVN

• Confident across general nursing duties, including theatre, inpatient care and nurse consults

• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach

• Enthusiasm for professional development and CPD
