Hours: Part time (Monday 8:30am–8pm plus 1 in 3 weekends). Additional days available if preferred. No OOH.
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (DOE, FTE)

The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive small animal team in Bedfordshire. This role offers a varied caseload including both medical and surgical work, with the opportunity to pursue areas of special interest.

You'll be confident handling routine procedures and consultations, as well as some sole charge responsibilities. The practice sees a wide range of surgical cases including occasional orthopaedics, and the team split is roughly 50% surgical and 50% medical.

This is a part-time role, with flexibility to increase hours if desired. There are no out of hours requirements, ensuring an excellent work-life balance.

About the Practice:
This is a modern, purpose-built and air-conditioned small animal clinic, equipped to a high standard. Facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound, tonometry, K-laser and a wide range of surgical equipment. The practice also supports alternative therapies, with acupuncture offered and encouraged.

The location benefits from strong transport links, situated adjacent to the A1 and within easy reach of Cambridge, Luton Airport, and direct rail services to central London.

The Team:
You'll be working with a supportive and experienced team of Vets, RVNs, SVNs, VCAs and reception staff. The practice has a certificate holder in ophthalmology and encourages all colleagues to develop their individual interests and pursue further qualifications.
