The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving small animal practice in Tamworth. This is a key clinical leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to shape the clinical direction of the practice while being fully supported by the practice owners and management team.
You'll lead and mentor a skilled veterinary team, contribute ideas to enhance care standards, and manage a varied caseload with opportunities to focus on your own clinical interests. No Sundays or out of hours are required, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
About the Practice:
This modern, family-owned practice is undergoing a major refurbishment and rebrand, making this an exciting time to join. Purpose-built to industry-leading standards, the surgery is spacious, air-conditioned, and fully equipped with high-end diagnostic and surgical facilities.
The team is experienced and stable, with some colleagues having been part of the practice for over 20 years. The practice has strong community ties and is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Team:
You'll be joining a close-knit team consisting of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses, 3 Receptionists, and 2 Practice Managers. The clinical team is highly skilled and supportive, making this a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to step into leadership while still focusing on clinical excellence.

Tamworth is a historic Staffordshire market town offering great transport links and amenities. With easy access to Birmingham and the surrounding countryside, it provides the perfect mix of city life, community, and outdoor leisure.

Must Haves
- RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
