Salary: £38,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE, FTE)
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and well-rounded GP Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and friendly small animal team. This first-opinion role offers a varied caseload including consultations, routine and advanced surgical procedures, and inpatient care. The diary is structured with a balance of consults and operating time, with no out of hours required.
Routine consultations are 15 minutes, with extended slots for complex cases and euthanasia. Surgical work includes routine neutering and dentals, alongside more advanced procedures such as splenectomies and foreign body removals, depending on your experience and interests.
About the Practice:
This is a modern, RCVS-accredited small animal clinic with spacious consulting rooms and a positive, collaborative working environment. The team is committed to delivering excellent patient care and continues to invest in new facilities and equipment.
The Team:
You'll be working alongside 3 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 Kennel Assistant, 4 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. The team works closely together, ensuring strong support and collaboration so you're never working in isolation.

The Area:
Located in Beaumont Leys, the practice benefits from excellent transport links and local amenities. Leicester city centre and the surrounding Leicestershire countryside provide a great mix of urban convenience and outdoor leisure.

Must Haves
