Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience)

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and well-equipped small animal practice in Buckinghamshire. This is a permanent role with flexibility for either full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time working. The rota includes 1 in 3 Saturdays (8am–6pm) and no out-of-hours, ensuring a healthy work–life balance. The position offers a varied caseload with both consults and surgery, providing opportunities to work up cases and develop clinical skills. Candidates should be confident with sole charge, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

About the Practice:
The practice is purpose-built with modern facilities including:

• Digital x-ray

• Ultrasound

• In-house laboratory

• Well-equipped operating theatre

• Separate dog and cat wards

• Isolation unit

• Laser therapy

A loyal client base ensures a wide variety of cases, and clinical freedom is supported to work cases up to a high standard.
