Salary: £36,000 – £66,000 depending on experience
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and supportive practice in Cardiff. This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent clinical variety, development opportunities, and a healthy work–life balance.

15-minute consults and dedicated admin time

Dedicated ops days to allow vets to follow through their own cases
This position would suit both experienced vets and recent graduates, with structured support and mentoring available.
About the Practice
This is a busy, RCVS-accredited first opinion practice with two sites in Cardiff, both equipped with full surgical and diagnostic facilities. The caseload is varied, offering exposure to both routine and more complex cases, with opportunities for further study and certificates actively encouraged.
The practice has a loyal client base, with an emphasis on strong communication and continuity of care. Case discussions and clinical collaboration are actively encouraged, ensuring you'll always feel supported.
The Team
You'll be joining a friendly and dedicated team including:

8 FTE vets (with multiple certificate holders and VetGDP mentors)

12 Registered Veterinary Nurses

1 Student Veterinary Nurse

4 Animal Nursing Assistants

A welcoming and experienced reception team
