The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and expanding team in Hartlepool, County Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet confident with both consults and surgery, with the option of taking on a more senior role involving mentoring and clinical leadership.

About the Practice
This well-established small animal group has been providing veterinary care in the North East for decades, operating across multiple branch sites. A brand-new, purpose-built premises is on the horizon, with plans to expand the team and facilities further — including the addition of CT.
Current equipment includes:

Digital and dental X-ray

Ultrasound

Endoscopy and laparoscopy

Well-equipped surgical and medical facilities
The practice has a strong clinical team including certificate holders in surgery, dentistry, cardiology, imaging and anaesthesia, with excellent nursing and support staff. Regular case discussions, good diary management and 20-minute appointment slots ensure vets have time to provide a high standard of care and maintain case continuity.

Hartlepool is a vibrant seaside town in County Durham with easy access to sandy beaches, stunning countryside and historic cities such as Durham and York. The area offers the best of both coastal and rural living, with great transport links for commuters.
