Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Permanent

Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 depending on experience

Hours: Full or part time
-
Rota: 4-day week | 1:5 Saturdays 1:20 Saturday mornings | No new OOH – in-patient cover only, supported by night RVNs
-
Consults: 15 minutes with protected breaks and admin time
The Role
-
Small animal first opinion role with a varied caseload
-
Responsible for consultations, diagnostics, medicine and routine surgery
-
Sole charge at times, with full case support available from the wider team
-
Opportunity to develop areas of interest including certificates
About the Practice

RCVS-accredited sites, all recently refurbished
-
Well-equipped with DR X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, blood gas machine and in-house lab facilities
-
12-vet team including certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine and Radiology, plus visiting Specialists
-
Nurse-led inpatient care Monday–Friday
The Area
Located close to the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, offering excellent walking, cycling and outdoor activities. Cardiff and Bristol are both within 45 minutes, with London accessible in under 3 hours.
The Package

Salary £40,000–£65,000 DOE

£1,750 CPD allowance with 5 days leave

Must Haves
- RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
