Key Details

• Location: Devon (Mid-Devon area)

• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse (experienced SVN considered) – Permanent

• Salary: Dependent on experience and skills

• Hours: Full time (negotiable – open to discussion)

• OOH: 1:6 weeknights and weekends, on-call from home (paid overtime for any call-outs)

The Role

• Involvement in all areas of nursing including consults, anaesthesia, surgery and inpatient care

• Scope to specialise in areas of interest within nursing

• Opportunity to support student training – excellent track record of coaching and exam success

• Flexible approach to working hours – practice happy to accommodate individual needs

About the Practice

• Long-established practice with over 60 years serving the local community

• RCVS-accredited and ISFM Silver Cat Friendly

• Modern facilities including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a newly fitted in-house lab (including blood gas equipment)

• Vets with surgical and orthopaedic training mean nurses are encouraged to fully utilise their skills
