Key Details

• Location: West Midlands (Halesowen/Oldbury area)

• Role: Veterinary Surgeon – Permanent

• Salary: Negotiable DOE

• Hours: 4–5 days per week (fixed days negotiable)

• Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends (ad hoc flexibility)

• OOH: Optional

The Role

• Consults, surgery and inpatient care across varied caseloads

• Opportunity to develop interests with full CPD/certificate support

• ECC, orthopaedics, and brachycephalic cases form part of the workload

• Option to include OOH shifts if desired

This independent veterinary group has a hospital site open 24/7 and branch surgeries supporting the wider community. The team prides itself on collaboration, high standards of care, and true independence – with no corporate targets or upselling pressures. Facilities include:

• Digital X-ray and ultrasound with Doppler

• In-house laboratory

• Orthopaedic and soft tissue theatres

• Endoscopy and tonometry
