Key Details

• Location: East Devon (Sidmouth & Colyton area)

• Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Permanent

• Salary: £45,000–£65,000 DOE

• Hours: Full-time, part-time or flexible (1–4 days per week – built around you)

• Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (currently lighter)

• OOH: None

The Role

• 20-minute consults with time to provide high-quality care

• Mix of consulting, medical cases and surgery (flexible to your strengths and interests)

• Opportunity to develop your clinical passions – certificates encouraged and supported

• Work across two well-equipped branches with modern facilities

About the Practice
This independent, vet-owned practice is known for its clinical integrity, supportive culture, and excellent standards of care. Facilities include:

• Digital X-ray

• Advanced colour doppler ultrasound

• Laparoscopic neutering

• Endoscopy

• Multiparameter monitoring

• Dedicated operating theatres

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000–£65,000 DOE

• £1,500 CPD budget paid CPD days

• Certificates supported

• RCVS, VDS 1 additional membership paid

• 6.6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays)

Must Haves

• RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
